This first volume shows in great detail how France made considerable efforts to acquire the nuclear bomb and Dassault Mirage IV and Mirage III aircraft with the support of both politicians and the general public. All this culminated in the French nuclear program of the 1960s-1970s, which would fundamentally change the face of a country that is now one of the world's leading military-industrial nations.
