In Search of Steam in Portugal À procura de Vapor em Portugal

Será lançada em início de Dezembro deste ano uma nova ediç o da APAC da autoria de Terence Dorrity, um inglês que visitou Portugal em 1972 para assistir ao vivo e a cores a uma das últimas epopeias de tracç o a vapor em serviço comercial na Europa. Esta ediç o trata-se de um album fotográfico a cores com 72 páginas, onde o autor retrata a actividade ferroviária a vapor que encontrou à volta de Viseu, Régua, Porto e Senhora da Hora na viagem que realizou a Portugal com o seu pai.

A ediç o é bilingue, com texto em Inglês e traduç o portuguesa de Fernando Pedreira, com um formato aproximado de 30 x 24 cm e acabamento similar aos livros já publicados anteriormente pela APAC, com capa dura, papel de 150 gramas e acabamento geral de grande qualidade.

A new APAC edition will be launched at the beginning of December. This is a 72-page colour photo album by Terence Dorrity, an English railway enthusiast who visited Portugal in 1972 to photograph some of the last steam traction in Europe still in commercial service. In it the author portrays the steam railway activity found in and around Viseu, Régua, Porto and Senhora da Hora during the journey he made to Portugal travelling with his father.

The book, a bilingual edition in English with a Portuguese translation by Fernando Pedreira, has an approximate format of 11.8 x 9.4 inches, similar to those previously published by APAC, and is printed on 150g paper with high quality finish and hardcover.
